IFC's just renewed The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret for a second season, which is good, because David Cross is funny, and also because season one ended with Cross's title character imprisoned in a British jail. (Or... "gaol?") The series stars Cross as a pathological liar hawking energy drinks in London and highlights a lot of the edge that's characterized his work since the Mr. Show days. We're excited to check out season two.

did season one get better at the end? i gave up a few episodes in because i didn't find it funny at all (and Cross is one of my favorite comedians). i kept trying to laugh but it was just kind of sad and frustrating to watch, with no payoff. i'd love to give it another shot.

I vote give it another shot, for sure. Loved Season 1, want more people to talk to about it!

Who the hell are you people? Okay, JMH is obviously a troll but there is no way David Cross is one of your favorite comedians and you didn't like Season 1 of this show. It was the essence of his style of comedy. I can't wait for season 2.

Season One was hilarious. I especially love when he tries to convince Alice that he actually lives in the Houses of Parliament.
