Will Forte leaves Saturday Night Live

Has MacGruber exploded (or should we say "bombed"?) for the last time? The New York Times reports that Will Forte has left Saturday Night Live just before the premiere of the show's thirty-sixth season. Besides the incompetent cod-MacGyver who remains his most popular character, Forte was known for playing "Greg Stink," an incompetent ESPN commentator, and The Falconer, an incompetent... falconer. The comedian had been at SNL for eight years. (We are old.) Number one reason to keep watching SNL: the ever-charming Jenny Slate.
