Cassette Tape Tells Time (1980)

Though all of my CDs were stolen a few months ago (I've since begun rebuilding from scratch, and am happy to report that I now have the Killers, Kate Nash, Lily Allen, the Beatards, Ben Folds, Leslie Hall, and some other albums), I still have every cassette I've ever owned. Some highlights:

  1. Billy Joel's Piano Man
  2. Neil Diamond's Neil Diamond — His Twelve Greatest Hits
  3. Bryan Adams's 18 Till I Die
  4. Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell and Bat Out of Hell II
  5. Paul Simon's Negotiations and Love Songs 1971-1986
  6. The Beatles' Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
  7. New Kids On the Block's Merry, Merry Christmas
  8. Fiona Apple's Tidal
  9. Nine Inch Nails' The Downward Spiral
  10. Styx's Edge of the Century

Yes. It was quite the eclectic mix. And there is still debate over whether or not my taste has actually improved. Either way, god I love my mix tapes. And that's why I also sort of love this watch:
