All right, so, perhaps you remember a few months ago when pictures surfaced purporting to be Oscar de la Hoya in fishnets? We were pretty sure that they had been Photoshopped, despite our sincerest hopes and what original publisher X17 was saying. I mean, look at 'em! The lighting's a little too smoothed out and the face is kind of incongruous to his body. In our opinion, add a rifle and you got Lee Harvey Oswald.
Be that as it may, nothing we will say on the subject could be considered "authoritative" by anyone other than ourselves or our moms, so it's a damn good thing that we may soon find out the truth and nothing but the truth in court.
The stripper who claims she had a fling with Oscar de la Hoya -- and has the alleged stilettoed snaps to prove it -- is fighting to get the boxer into the legal ring, while Oscar tries to send the case to a secret arbitration.
Milana Dravnel, the Scores girl who says she took the snaps, later publicly stated regret for releasing them and may have attempted to cast doubts on their authenticity -- but it's also been insinuated that those actions were part of a plan by de la Hoya's handlers to put a lid on the situation. All of which gives us a headache. Tell ya what, we'll do some first-person reporting on this and see if Milana's working this weekend. Hey, we can expense that, right?
