'Boyfriend Twin' Is the Strangest Internet Phenomenon You'll See Today

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to date yourself? Studies have shown that couples who are together for a long time begin to look like one another. Taking on that idea, Boyfriend Twin is a new Tumblr collecting photos of couples who look remarkably like one another. Part narcissism, part coincidence, and part biology, these couples are trying out what it'd be like to romance someone almost exactly like themselves. There's something fascinating and suggestive about two people who could pass for brothers being sexually attracted to one another, but it's also slightly unnerving. I, for one, don't want to date someone who looks just like me, I want to date someone who looks way, way hotter.
