Looks like the United States isn't the only country with sanctimonious, hypocritical politicians. Turns out Indonesia's got them too. One of their finest lawmakers, MP Arifinto, (who simply goes by one name, kind of like Cher) who's been known to sponsor anti-porn legislation, was busted watching, what else, porn while on the job in Parliament. When caught, Arifinto cited the old "I was just clicking a link in my email" excuse. You just try using that line the next time you sneak a peak at NSFW videos in the office and see how it turns out.
Arifinto has since resigned, yet will continue to work for the Islamic Prosperous Justice Party in a lesser capacity. He also seems to have the most forgiving boss ever. In response to the incident, party leader, Surahman Hidayat, said, "Lawmakers are human. What happened to (Arifinto) could happen to anybody else." Yup, it was just a totally harmless mistake that could have happened to anyone. Good thing they're working hard on that anti-porn legislation to prevent it from happening again.
