Could this be the plot of the Arrested Development movie?

Could we finally know the plot of the long-awaited Arrested Development movie? Screenrant.com reports that a source very close to the film's production has revealed this very-meta synopsis:

"Ron Howard is making a movie about the Bluths using an A-List cast. But Dr. Tobias plays himself because nobody wants to play him in the movie. The Bluths decide to make their own movie in contention with Ron Howard’s."

Sounds like a perfectly clever and self-aware way to continue the Bluths' legacy. An official announcement will supposedly be made soon. In the meantime, here's hoping there's some credence to the rumor and the Chinese Democracy of sitcom movie spin-offs finally comes to fruition. In the immortal words of Gob, "C'mon!"
