Pixar makes the best "It Gets Better" video yet
By Lindsay CutlerNovember 23rd, 2010, 3:27 pmComments (11)Yes, another one of these that you have to see. But you really, really have to see this one. Pixar once again trumps the competition (it's not a competition, it's a wonderful cause, right) simply from drawing from the endless spring of compassion and empathy that we now know is inside of everyone who works at Pixar.
Reactions: Beautiful. Also, Pixar has a lot of LGBT employees, don't they? The first woman in the beginning of the video isn't making generalizations when she says that it's not a coincidence people from Pixar weren't the most popular kids in high school -- "it's just the way it works."

totally teared up.
This was great and wonderful. But not better than the councilman video, that one is the best yet. Dan Savage must be so proud of how big this has gotten.
The George Takei video is still the best!
I was almost over my weeping when 5:22 hit ): I was like, "No, Bald Guy, don't cry!" but he did and I burst into tears again.
This is far and away the most heartfelt and relatable video.
As if Pixar wasn't awesome enough. Bravo to all concerned. I'm straight and this moved me, totally.
thanks for making me cry (a good cry)
Loved this. Yes, I cried. :) It's funny because while this campaign is focused on LGBT youth, really the message applies to any kid in a tough place. Which reminds me, my friend's 8-year-old should probably see this.
Everything is made better with a little George Takei. Except Ninja Cheerleaders....that really sucked.
Wow. Just amazingly wonderful.
Inspirational. My brother-in-law once said 'I just don't understand why gay people need these Gay Pride parades and festivals'. How do you get through to someone like that?... Just maybe a wonderful piece like this will help people like him to understand. And yes, I wept watching it, it was beautiful, most of all because it's true.
I just, words fail me. This is good.
Now you say something
