Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst get naked in bed for "All Good Things" poster

The big trend in film marketing these days seems to be to get your two young male and female stars and slapping their nude photos on the cover of the official poster. Love And Other Drugs, the upcoming Jake Gyllenhaal-Anne Hathaway starrer, not only featured its leads in bed in the buff for the poster, it also put together a Photoshopped image of Gyllenhaal taking off his underwear for its viral campaign.

Now comes All Good Things, which is based on the true story of an unsolved murder that took place in New York City. What better way to promote that story than... a nude photo of the stars?

The movie was inspired by the real-life murder mystery involving Robert Durst, a real estate scion, who was the main suspect in the murder of his wife, Kathie who went missing in 1982 and never found. Durst was never tried for the murder.

“Because it is impossible to know exactly what happened, we have not tried to replicate the history of the case, but to capture the emotion and complexity of this unsolved mystery that has for years been kept hidden from public view,” said Andrew Jarecki [who also directed Capturing The Friedmans, of the truly great documentaries] [Indyposted]

FYI, the film also stars Zoe Lister Jones, Phillip Baker Hall, Kristen Wiig, Frank Langella and John Doman, who played Rawls on The Wire.
