Radiohead announce new album "The King of Limbs" out this Saturday
By Jessica GentileFebruary 14th, 2011, 12:05 pmComments (5)You're probably still reeling from the Arcade Fire's Grammy coup. Well, here's some more music news to get excited about. Radiohead have just announced that their eighth full-length album The King of Limbs will be released this Saturday, February 19th, digitally at least. The tangible version won't be out until May.
It's being billed as the "world's first newspaper album" and while we're not exactly sure what that means we do know the packaging will be awesome. It's comprised of "two clear 10" vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve" as well as "many large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork and a full-colour piece of oxo-degradeable plastic to hold it all together."
As for the actual music, there's no telling what it will sound like, but have Radiohead ever made a bad record? No. They haven't even made a mediocre one.

I like strange album packaging. I'm not a huge radiohead but I may consider buying it.
