Watch: Community's Donald Glover releases video for new rap single "Freaks and Geeks"

Did you know that the hilarious Donald Glover — writer on 30 Rock, Troy on Community, and co-founder of Derrick Comedy — also raps under the name Childish Gambino? You can't buy his stuff on iTunes, and when that became some sort of benchmark for me I'll never know, but it's all out there on the web. And, much like all the other stuff he does, he's pretty good at it! (Damn him.)

He's just released the video for his newest track, "Freaks and Geeks," and as you can guess from the title, it's stuffed with pop-culture references. What you can't tell is how dirty it is, so watch this one with headphones if you're at work:

Nice sustained metaphors, Donald! While I wouldn't want Glover to give up his acting for a music career — which is really more of a comment on how good he is on TV than anything else — I can tell I'm going to have this stuck in my head all day.
