The most heartbreaking thing is when "Darla" grows out of the pageant age and mom won't know what to do with a daughter.
Sadly, I don't think she can really grow out of the pageant age. There probably are pageants like that for teenagers, and then of course, the Miss America competitions and stuff...
That said, the two videos I just saw are as depressing and angering as anything else I've ever seen. How the mother can't realize the harm she's doing to her kid is beyond me.
