Watch: Gene Simmons wants to take back his vote for Obama

After years of confusion and having to base my votes off of coin flips, I can finally feel at ease in the world of political debate. Why? Because I now have Gene Simmons to guide me! Sure, he might be best-known for having a really long tongue, but that didn't stop the former KISS frontman from going on Parker Spitzer to rescind his support for Barack Obama.

Simmons explained that he wants his vote for Obama back (this is America, you can probably do that, right?), and said, "If you take a look at (Obama's) resume, you couldn’t find somebody, in retrospect, more unqualified." Is that more unqualified than, say, an aging hair-metal star talking politics?

In the scheme of things, this is not quite up there with Lyndon Johnson sighing that he'd lost Walter Cronkite, is it?

I don't know, I think it's up there with Ronald Reagan complaining that he'd lost his Jelly Bellies.

Only a bipartisan hack can't see the obvious parallels between George Bush and Barack Obama.

Gene Simmons is a talentless megalomaniac.

Simmons has talent, but he is indeed a megalomaniac. And he thinks he's much smarter than he actually is. also, take off your goddamn sunglasses asshole.

What qualifications are you supposed to have to talk politics?

Actually, Paul Stanley is the frontman of KISS, not Gene Simmons. Gene Simmons is just the most recognizable member of KISS.

Paul Stanley's also barely capable of completing a sentence these days.
