Community's claymation special has yet to arrive, but the pop-culture gods are already smiling down on us. From atop their Charlie St. Clouds, they've sent us the type of video that should make even the most hardened internet resident grin.

The video below, in which Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer suffers a slow, untimely, and, most importantly here, public death at a Virginia parade, is that video. Some have advised viewers to skip ahead to the two-minute mark, but I think it's best to watch it in its entirety, so as to let the anticipation build.

Yet shortly after that clip made the rounds, another Rudolph-related YouTube video started popping up. Perhaps as a way to commemorate the tragedy, a mash-up titled "Rudolph (You Don't Have to Put on the Red Light)" is at your service below.

It would be even more fitting had one or more of the Segways had run rampant through the crowds of children, wildly dispensing candy as they went.

The first time in a long time that I laughed hysterically. Too funny!

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!

Is Rudolph on that list? Was he called by name? No. It's EIGHT tiny reindeer. EIGHT!

You know, there's a world wide shortage of Helium, and it gets more expensive year by year, and idiots like that get to waste it? That was clearly one of those things where (a) no-one thought to figure out the minimum clearance along the route and (b) waaay too many people were giving orders all at once.
