Adam Lambert Too Controversial For Good Morning America, Unlike "Russian Roulette"
By Drew GrantNovember 24th, 2009, 3:10 pmComments (4)Today in WTF: Adam Lambert and his controversial boy-kiss during Sunday night's American Music Awards got the glam-boy cut from his scheduled performance on ABC's Good Morning America tomorrow. Okay, maaaaybe we could understand why 7 a.m. moms getting their kids ready for school wouldn't want to have simulated blow-jobs on the TV after a story on cute puppies. But give the guy some credit: he was on American Idol, the most family-oriented show in the country, and placed runner-up. Pretty sure he (or his handlers) knows how to tailor their act to fit an audience.
Regardless, do you know who the producers of GMA did put on their morning program today? Rihanna (no stranger to controversy herself) singing her new song "Russian Roulette". Sooo much more appropriate. Video of Rihanna's performance, after the jump.
Oh yeah, totally appropriate. Thank god there was no homosexuality involved in this song about a song about shooting yourself in the face with a gun.

And yet Fergie got away with her sexed up showing on the Today Show in May of 08'
Of COURSE. Our society is much, much more accepting of violence (or singing about it) than it is in alternative sexuality (or simulation of).
The one thing he has going for him is very few people are commenting on how horrible the song and his singing was.
Lainey Gossip points out the problem the best: "I don’t think the problem is the alleged lewdness. The problem is the factual gayness. Gays are supposed to be adorable best friends like Stanford Blatch who tell you to buy those Jimmy Choos. Gays are not supposed to be put their gayness on tv."
Now you say something
