Kristen Schaal and Rich Blomquist, the real-life "Daily Show" comedy team and couple, have written a goofy "how-to" book about sex. It's called "The Sexy Book of Sexy Sex" and, judging by the early press and this interview with the authors at The Frisky, it lives up to its title.
One reviewer from Amazon.com states: "It's loaded with charts, graphs, and illustrations, and the captions for these are some of the funniest things in the book. I love it. The writing is witty and clever and, in case you were wondering, there is actual, useful sex advice in here – often in the form of mocking and ridiculing things that you might think are a good idea, but really aren't."
Kristen: We’re the best love-makers in the galaxy and we thought it would b e a crime not to share just the tip of our wisdom.
Rich: Our [book] has lots of pictures and colors and though Joy of Sex showed hairy werewolves having sex, ours includes not only werewolves, but other aliens and monsters having sex too.
[on whether the book helped or hurt their own sex life]
Rich: It reduced the quantity, so the quality had to be through the roof.
Kristen: It’s hard to type when you’re making love.
Rich: Go into super-gentleman mode [if you're looking to get laid]. Buy some fancy dinners, hold a lot of doors—anything you can do to win over her heart. You could also try painting her toenails in bed—
Kristen: —and between every coat, lick her pussy!
[on when masturbating could become a problem]
Rich: When dehydration becomes an issue.
Kristen: If your hand starts to cramp up, give your hand-lover a breather.
Rich: If you look out the window and see new inventions that weren’t there when you started masturbating, it’s time to stop.
