Revenge sex just doesn't work... I did it, admit that it was fantastic at the time, but has made my marriage even more unbearable. So if you're not breaking up than there are a hell of a lot more consequences to revenge sex. I got the hurt reaction I wanted, but it did nothing to make a better marriage. And if you are planning on breaking up anyway, revenge sex is just stupid. Seriously, is the ex really going to care that you are with someone else.

@jessica I agree ... also if you're a guy and have kids, going the revenge sex route makes you look incredibly bad in the eyes of child custody court. My mom cheated on my dad, but my dad did the revenge sex, and my mom ended up looking more stable. She was able to use the revenge sex as evidence he was mean and cruel throughout the relationship and she was cheating "because she was too afraid to ask for a divorce". Lies but it came down to he-said-she-said and men get the short end of the stick on that one. Ugh. This article was disgusting.
If any of these guys loved their women, they'd be happy to know that their loved ones are exploring their sexuality. Each of these guys has a chance to make a woman an honest and satisfied person. If love is there, the woman will help the man explore sexually also, if that is what he wants (but there is no reason sex partners and fucks have to be perfectly balanced). Granted that revenge could be a momentary turn-on, revenge sex over any span of time is a recipe for self-disgust.
Best revenge: 1) Don't let her know you know. 2) Sit her down, tell her you love her, but that you have some personal stuff you need to work through alone. You'll contact her in a few days. 3) Delete her number and never think her name again.
