Sexiest Man Alive protest

While Occupy Wall Street pushes forward on its "Day of Action," other concerned citizens have taken to the streets in support of an actually important cause: Ryan Gosling's rightful claim to People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" title.

Backlash has been swift and vehement since the magazine's totally inexplicable decision to give this year's title to Bradley Cooper instead of high-profile, hyper-dreamy, beloved-on-the-internet Ryan Gosling. Today it went one step further, as a group of protesters "occupied" the streets outside People's offices, organized by Buzzfeed.

More pictures of the protest over at Buzzfeed, for those of you who are truly invested in the cause. Brace yourselves for a crowd full of Ryan Gosling masks and a lot of "Hey girl..." signs. Grassroots organizing at its best!

I thought Zooey Deschanel was going to run away with it.

Oh,I'm just looking forward to when these lemmings/idiots/retards/morons,start killing themselves over this ok but rather overrated actor, and all I ever read about him is more lemming idiot morons blowing smoke up his ass even more,in the streets. Yeah. That will make my day. I will seriously laugh my ass off if that happens.

And this is not anything against Gosling, not at all. I mean, I have yet to see him do something to convince he's as good as everyone who keeps blowing smoke up his ass says he is,which is exactly it,all I ever seem to read about him is people constantly blowing more and more smoke up his ass. This is not bitterness or jealousy towards Mr.Gosling at all, hardly. I'm glad he's found the success he's had,I really am, but yeah, all I ever seem to read about him is more people constantly blowing smoke up his ass.

No, I have not seen drive, yes I've heard all about it, sure it's good. Same for Half Nelson and The Believer,I've been meaning to see that one esp.

I did see Lars And The Real Girl, had to shut it off about 15 minutes it. Why? Too much quirky self aware indie stuff for my tastes. And wasn't convinced Gosling was as great as people make him out to be. Again, nothing against the guy personally, just, not feeling it with him. And yes, every story I read about this guy just seems to be more and more smoke blown up his ass. For me, that sort of thing is off putting.
