It's looking like a 95% chance that Alec Baldwin will be running for some sort of political office (probably in New York) in the near future.

Here's why:

  • He says he loves his current job. That's what political candidates always say before they become political candidates.

  • He panders to the middle class by pointing out that "we've had twenty-two years of Yale and Harvard running this country."

  • He claims that "whatever he's accrued in his career hasn't changed [him] as a person." That's what people always say when whatever they've accrued has changed them as a person.

  • He's on CNN.

  • When asked whether he was considering running for political office, he said "Yes." So, yeah.

Watch all five bullet points come to life in the clip from his interview with former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer below.

Why do actors think they can do anything and everything?
Hey Alec Baldwin, if I asked you to find a cure for cancer and build a bridge, would you do that too?

That Alec Baldwin would choose to sit and talk with a fool like Spitzer, about anything, is totally fucked up.
