Viacom's recently announced Comedy Awards — an attempt to provide the comedy world with its own answer to the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, etc — has just released its first set of nominees, and most of them are on 30 Rock. Among "Comedy Actress" nominees, 30 Rock's Tina Fey and Jane Krakowski take two of the five spots, with Eastbound and Down's Danny McBride sneaking onto the "Comedy Actor" list next to 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan. For "Best Comedy Series," the nominees include Eastbound And Down, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Modern Family, The Office, and... 30 Rock. Does this mean Tracy Jordan will have to try for a CEGOT? (Hmm, this comedy business is hard.) Nominees were chosen by a panel of famous people including Jon Stewart, Conan O'Brien, Joan Rivers, Stephen Colbert, et al (see a full list here); the winners, as chosen by a larger group of 1,000 industry types, will be revealed on an April 10 telecast.

when are people going to start admitting that 30 rock has gone so far down hill that it's not even remotely funny anymore. i used to be a huge fan and now i barely laugh once an episode, i keep watching in hopes that it will regain it's originality but instead am force fed the same joke leftovers over and over. parks and rec needs to start getting the respect it deserves as the leader of nbc comedy!
It hasn't dropped as far as the The Office has dropped. But yes, the earlier seasons were funnier.
Yeah, it's gaining speed on the self-parody slope. I watch exclusively on DVR so I can FF through any Tracy Jordan.
I thought the last one was pretty funny. "Your milk comes in bags! BAGS!!"
I love Tina Fey
