Watch: CNN anchor Don Lemon shoved by Bachmann camp
By Jessica GentileAugust 15th, 2011, 11:00 amComments (11)Things got a bit rowdy when CNN anchor, Don Lemon, attempted to interview Michele Bachmann amongst a crowd at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. Lemon claims he was repeatedly elbowed by several campaign staff workers and even pushed by Bachmann's equally cuckoo husband, Marcus. According to Lemon:
"I told them, asked them not to elbow me. And then her husband Marcus started doing the same thing. And then he elbowed me into [a golf] cart. And I said, ‘You just pushed me into the cart.' And he goes, ‘No, you did it yourself.' It was just, I don’t know why they would choose to do that. We weren’t asking any ‘gotcha’ questions."
Could the notoriously homophobic Bachmann have been actively trying to aggressively pester the openly gay anchor? If you can't pray the gay away, you might as well try and push it out, right? Let the conspiracy theories commence.

Yes, I'm sure he was being pushed around because he was openly gay. Because, you know, Bachmann and her supporters like to push around gays.
Seriously, I think the crowd just thought they were SEIU members.
I love to defend my favorite bigots. It's what a patriot does!
Don Lemon isn't my type. Now Anderson Cooper? I'd do a 360 on him!
The CNN Drama Queenie likes drama. What a shocka! He was tremendously disappointed when he found out it was only an elbow he got poked with.
He wants to focus like a fabulously fluorescent laser on any gay issues, but he only makes himself and CNN more of a joke.
The real joke is in my pants.
Has the Marcus Bachmann sex-for-hire / Craigslist / Port Authority bathroom stall sex scandal cliché broken yet?
Hey, Bachmann, when Don's cousin Liz finds out what you did, get ready for a shattering satire on TGS!
Apparently all the right wing loon donors and organizers are going to Rick Perry now. So I hope Bachmann likes Iowa, because that's about as far as she's gonna get.
elbowed out of the way by 2 women staffers....what a sissy boy
anyone look at that and think, "wow id probably elbow everyone around me because it was so damn packed with people"? Don't get me wrong, if Bachmann actually becomes president I'm going to Canada as a political refugee, but this is a bit much.
well i think that was HIGHLY UNFAIR of them. Why would they want to push a harmless journalist who was only trying to do his honest job away like he was a common beggar or like he was posing a threat somehow? I feel so sorry for poor Don lemon. I love him and respect him even more as a journalist after this. Don my journalistic hero, dont mind the haters. Just take it as one of the hazards of the job. LUV u. MUAAAAAH.
