"Thriller" Overload? Perhaps You Should Try "Soul Dracula".

Posted by Bryan Christian

If you're like us, sometimes you just can't choose between Thriller, Indian Thriller, Filipino Prison Thriller, and Wedding Dance Thriller. Well that's why the sweet Lord and the German Disco Industrial Complex gave us Hot Blood's 1977 freakout Soul Dracula.

Did that crummily masked vampire just say "Do it" over and over and then laugh maniacally? I think he did! How's that for a steaming bowl of awesome this Halloween? Download it here for all your mixtape needs, and while we're being all Pitchfork-y, here's a live version of Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London, which begins with the line "I've heard there's a bizarre cult of werewolves at Bryn Mawr." Wish someone had told us, Warren.

Actually, it would be "Filipino" Prison Thriller. And for reference, the country is spelled "Philippines." Love that you used the country for reference, but please check your spelling out of respect for my peoples! Thanks : )

How embarrassing is that? A heck of a lot, that's how embarrassing. Wait, how do you spell "embarrassing"? Is it really two "r"'s *and* two "s"'s? First things first, I'm gonna fix the post. Thanks for the note!
