While Barack Obama was getting ready to tour the Middle East late last week, John McCain was grabbing media attention the way he does it best -- by swapping jokes with a late-night comedian. In an appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, the Arizona Republican made some cracks about his age -- during the commercial break, he said, "I had dinner and a nap" -- and then even pretended to fall asleep in his chair. He also discussed the most important duties of a vice-president: "To inquire daily about the health of the president."
If he doesn't win in November, maybe NBC should give him the 12:30 spot. Video below:
