Editors Everywhere Have Breakup Sex With The Same Joke As "The Ex List" Gets Dumped

Posted by Jake Kalish

CBS has cancelled The Ex List after only four episodes. Now, ordinarily this wouldn't be big news, but apparently no headline writer in the universe could ever resist the temptation to write about a something called The Ex List getting cancelled. A few examples:

"CBS separates from 'Ex List'"

"CBS dumps The Ex List"

"The Ex-Ex List"

"The Ex List is ex-tinct"

"CBS Crosses Ex List Off The Schedule"

"The Ex List becomes an Ex Show"

Whew, tough work, huh, guys?

The lesson here: don't name your show The Ex List unless you want 95% of the media coverage on it to be when the show inevitably gets cancelled.
