About a week ago, Dancing With the Stars competitor Cheryl Burke released a Hewitt-like statement standing up to media criticism regarding her weight.  Basically, Cheryl let everybody know that she is proud of her physique, and that beautiful doesn’t have to mean anorexia nervosa.  Even as we read Cheryl’s statement, even as we thought to ourselves, “wtf, girlfriend looks great,” we knew that Jennifer Love Hewitt would have something to say about this.

And here, friends, are her eagerly awaited pearls of wisdom:

The former Party of Fiver and current Whisperer of Ghosts says that the criticism of Cheryl is “really insensitive.”  And in response to the male Dancing competitors' public denouncement of Cheryl’s weight, Love Hewitt says “I think [people] feel like people don’t have any feelings.”

People feel like people don’t have any feelings.  So true, J. Love.  So wise, and so true.
