Tucson Viewers Get Money For Watching Porn

Posted by Jake Kalish

As we previously reported,  Tucson Comcast Subscribers got a lot more than they bargained for when, right after the Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald scored a go-ahead touchdown and it briefly seemed the hometown team would win, their broadcast suddenly switched to 30 seconds of porn star Evan Stone whipping out his dong. That is one way to celebrate. Now mortified Comcast officials have come up with a solution - a $10 credit to everyone who got a side order of penis with their football. It's all about the Hamiltons, baby. Here's what Comcast had to say for themselves:

We are appalled by last evening's Super Bowl interruption. The Super Bowl is a family-viewing event, and last night was even more special here in Arizona as we were all cheering for the Cardinals...We can't undo what happened, but we remain deeply sorry for the impact this situation has had on our customers...We will be issuing a $10 credit to any Comcast video customer in Tucson who was impacted. While this credit won't change what happened, we hope that it will demonstrate to our customers, and to the Tucson community, how seriously we are taking this situation.

Free money and surprise porn? Boy, even though the Cardinals lost, this is a good week to live in Tucson.

Lindy Parker has worked as a ghostwriter, editor, dance instructor and a purveyor of dreams, one beer at a time. She loves Charles Dickens and Gabriel Garcia Marquez and also, straight-to-video releases with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It's possible she reads more teen fiction than she should. She hails from Los Angeles, her hometown and soul mate, but she lives in Brooklyn, the fling she'll never forget.

Olivia Purnell left Ohio for sunny Los Angeles; then found that she couldn’t ignore New York City’s call, and brought herself to Brooklyn where she has worked with GenArt, BlackBook, the School of American Ballet, and finished an M.A. in Creative Writing from N.Y.U. She loves one-liners with sting and hates the stench of the subway in the summer. That said, she can’t get enough of either.
