OMG, There's a "Bones"/"Family Guy" Crossover Happening

Posted by Lindy Parker

It's seems at least one of the Family Guy characters is taking a break from his feud with the Parents Television Council to haunt David Boreanaz's illness-induced mental dellusions...

As I previously reported, David Boreanaz' Bones alter ego will suffer a life-threatening health crisis this May that will cause him to hallucinate. Well, I can finally reveal the destination of his head trip: Quahog, Rhode Island. Put another way, Booth is getting a visit from Family Guy's acid-tongued baby villain, Stewie!

"This is going to sound odd, but it is a completely believable event given [Booth's condition]," maintains executive producer Stephen Nathan, who declined to reveal the mystery ailment causing his visions. "It's not just a fantasy of ours. There's medical research to back up what's going on with Booth. There are conditions where you can see cartoon characters."  (Ausiello Files)

Well, sure.  Just the other day we could've sworn we were riding the bus with Cheetara from Thundercats.  Is this really a good idea?  We feel like it's one of those things that could either be an incidence of unlikely, yet staggering genius, or a disaster of unspeakable proportions.  Either way, we like a show that thinks outside the box.

About Lindy Parker

Lindy Parker has worked as a ghostwriter, editor, dance instructor and a purveyor of dreams, one beer at a time. She now writes for hooksexup.com's TV blog, "The Remote Island." She loves Charles Dickens and Gabriel Garcia Marquez and also, straight-to-video releases with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It's possible she reads more teen fiction than she should. She hails from Los Angeles, her hometown and soul mate, but she lives in Brooklyn, the fling she'll never forget.

Olivia Purnell left Ohio for sunny Los Angeles; then found that she couldn’t ignore New York City’s call, and brought herself to Brooklyn where she has worked with GenArt, BlackBook, the School of American Ballet, and finished an M.A. in Creative Writing from N.Y.U. She loves one-liners with sting and hates the stench of the subway in the summer. That said, she can’t get enough of either.
