The Leningrad Cowboys (who are neither from Leningrad nor are they cowboys …discuss) teamed up with the Soviet Red Army Choir, official chorus of the Soviet Army from 1928 until the whole shebang went up in pseudo-capitalist flames, to sing Lynyrd Skynyrd’s bro-fest-ready classic “Sweet Home Alabama.” I officially declare this version my favorite, as it is the least likely to be played at some beer-pong barbecue that I’ll likely be dragged to once the weather clears up.

The Internet is abuzz with this clip of an elephant painting his own self-portrait, with a flower and everything! Some nay-sayers are saying this painting is staged, but elephants are amongst the most intelligent species in the animal kingdom. I totes believe it.

Way down in Dallas, Texas, a "multimedia artist" named Paul Slocum spent three years... recreating a ten-second scene from the sitcom "Full House."
Using actors that he found on Craigslist, Slocum recreated the scene, and layered each take on top of the other, creating a, oh, let's say, bizarre, mesmerizing, hypnotic effect.
Hundreds of takes and thousands of dollars later, we have the following result. You're Not My Father, by Paul Slocum. Look upon his work, ye mighty, and despair...

Two otherwise respectable nations selecting singing turkey puppets and pirate kitsch, respectively, to represent them across the European Union, in bizarrely choreographed song and dance numbers! The same contest that brought us Ukrainian Drag Queens from Space now finds Ireland and Latvia competing for most ridiculous national representation from folks in silly costumes.
