Michelle Obama Encourages Elmo On Sesame Street [VIDEO]

 

Love Michelle Obama. Profoundly despise Elmo. Is it wrong to hate a happy little puppet? It's that the giddy little adorable idiot has no edge, nothing interesting or different about him. Angry, misanthropic Oscar the Grouch - he's got edge. Mister Snuffleupagus, back in his imaginary days - loved him. Giant, awkward, oft-confused Big Bird? Awesome. Ravenous, impolite Cookie Monster? Great. Bert and Ernie, with their possibly inappropriate decades long roommate situation? Excellent. Elmo is just cute and squeaky. To hell with Elmo.

But that's neither here nor there. The first lady appeared on Sesame Street this week to promote "healthy habits" - and she told Britain's Telegraph it was "the best thing I've done so far in the White House."
