I enjoyed this story. I will have to agree with everyone. I miss this kind of honesty from Hooksexup.

This is, flat-out, the best piece of writing I've seen on Hooksexup. Ever. And I've been reading this website for more than nine years, now. Wow.

I'm very touched by this piece. It sounds real; it's relatable. More, please. I'd pay to read this kind of writing if it were behind a subscription wall. The New York bar scene hipster exploits, not so much. But this -- seriously, I would pay for this. Think about it.

I'm not gay, but I could still relate to this. Good job!

I agree with S.F. Love this piece

What a lovely, sad story. This is the kind of writing I wish Hooksexup would have more of: sensitively written, clear-eyed, and thoughtful, with sex and sexuality as an integral part of the narrative (rather than included as an afterthought), and anchored by a narrator whose neuroses seem human and familiar (as opposed to the malignant, narcissistic urbanites who too often feature in these pages).
