loved this and I agree with the commentator below...theres not enough written about this kind of betrayal (good on the writer for kicking his ass out...sounds like a loser...someone holding on to a chick who exed him over someone who loved him???...hello.loooser) digital camera, blackberries, email, all that shit is making it easier for people to conduct hidden friendships all over the map. my ex-girlfriend also had a thing with all her ex's too. she told me they were just friends but I am sure in some cases it was just her being pathetically unable to let go of the past...oh well. see ya.

I am not sure why if a writer prints an article about something(anything really) in a seemingly professional marketplace like Hooksexup that is professionally written and well thought out - whether you agree with the article or not - that suddenly everyone who made an C in high school English thinks they are an editor for the New York Times. If you read the article and enjoyed it - then say thank you and move on. NO ONE cares about why or how the writer should improve the article according to you. You like the article, you don't like the article - fine. You think it is stupid, you think it is funny or well reasoned - fine. It makes you think about your own life - great! Everything else about writing style, subject matter, or selection of proper dreaming material - shut the fuck up! Get a life! That said - TO THE WRITER - I thought it was a funny and pointed article about break up and its effect on us. Thanks. Made me think. (That is how it is done).

I'll skip making superficial criticisms to get to the heart of the matter. Great article denoting the effects of the betrayal chaos. Even better was your ability to use the dream to see a better path then wallowing in something you had no power or control over, his deceptive crappy choices. Unfortunately, betrayal in intimate relationships has reached epidemic proportions yet still not taken seriously, much less properly addressed. Thanks for giving us some insight into moving on as constructively as possible after being zapped by such an unnecessary, stupid, low blow. He chose not to be honest, you should not to put up with it & your subconscious told you to move on to the "living well is the best revenge" phase as quickly as you can. Good for you!

Knowing whether or not V Vaugh has "hair plugs" really cuts into you professing your disdain for celebrity-obsession. Also, from a writing perspective, if you're going to employ the visual of Jolie biting into peaches with the juice running down her chin, why undercut it in the next sentence by saying she swallows them whole. It's not mixed metaphors, but it's the next worse thing. Other than that, cute piece.

it's funny to think that we dream about celebrities. we should be dreaming of distant lands, old friends, perhaps dead people we knew, and yet our subconscience is polluted with peopel of no consequence. Who contribute nothing to society, yet they fascinate and compell us. I had a dream about Tootie from Facts of Life a long time ago, and I never ever forgot it (won't tell you what it was...)

I think you should be more ashamed of thinking that Angelina is some edgy, attractive chica (shock actress, the howard stern equivalent of a hotchick) than dreaming you're boring (which you probably are if you drink chardonnay). Why do simpletons feel entitled to put Angelina and Jennifer at opposite ends of some brad-fulcrumed spectrum? The truth about these people is that they both live infinitely more exciting, lavish lives of privelege than an average writer could even put to page - much less criticize on the basis of character choice. You couldn't carry Jennifer Aniston's jock, let alone punky brewster's. You should have been flattered to wake up dreaming you lived a life even half as entitled. Oh yeah, did I mention Angelina is a faker?
