Great writing! You have the power, do a lot more, please! Like the "secret fraternity" of would-be writers out there, there really is a secret world of people who enjoy a truly human story in a good movie or book and recognize each other across age and culture and geograhic distances, and instantly feel close. You are the kind of writer who can do more for "World peace" :) than a Trident-full of nukes, believe me. Never give up (although scratching asshole publisher's faces may not be the best way to get published). From now on, I will look for everything you write.

When I started reading this story I kind of, fell into it. I was listening to Mazzy Star "Fade into You" and I could feel my eyes begin to glaze over as I sank deeper into its honest, aching need. But then I read the line; "I would have settled for a potpie and a handjob. Hell, I still would." and a belly laugh erupted from my lips. I wasn't expecting to be shaken out of my romantic haze so abruptly.It was such a nice surprise. The rest of the story was wonderful. Thanks for that.
