Herman Cain accused of having 13-year affair
By EJ DicksonNovember 28th, 2011, 6:30 pmComments (12)Just when it seemed like the Herman Cain crazy train was showing signs of slowing down, someone's come along to throw more coal into the furnace... or however old-timey trains work. Ginger White, a businesswoman from Atlanta, recently told the local Fox News affiliate that she had an extramarital affair with Cain for thirteen years, a claim that Cain refuted in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer. "I just wanted to give you a heads-up, and your audience a heads-up — here we go again," Cain, who is currently facing a series of sexual harassment charges, said. Cain added that he didn't "want to specify" because his campaign was planning on handling the charges "detail by detail, accusation by accusation."
The former Godfather's Pizza CEO, who referred to the woman as "an acquaintance that I thought was a friend," also issued a statement through his attorney to Fox 5 Atlanta, which doesn't deny the charge so much as it... like... acknowledges its existence. "[Mr. Cain] has no obligation to discuss these types of accusations with the media and he will not do so even if his principled position is viewed unfavorably by members of the media," his attorney said.
For her part, White says that the thirteen-year affair with Cain "wasn't complicated." "I was aware that he was married," she told reporter Dale Russell. "And I was also aware that I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship." White's interview airs Monday evening. Shitstorm, commence!

You do want a job, don't you?
I doubt this will slow him down at all. Look at Newt Gingerich's surge in the polls, and his relationship history is so twisted that his lesbian sister looks downright prissy beside him.
The funny thing to me is that Cain and Gingrich joked about being running mates earlier this month in Texas. They'd be perfect together!
"Another accuser coming forward" makes no sense... this isn't someone claiming sexual harassment, this is someone who voluntarily engaged in a relationship with Ol Crazybones. BIG difference... not saying it's right, but she's not an "accuser" or a victim.
Since he's not confirming anything, her saying she was involved in an affair with him for 13 years must be seen at this stage to be an accusation, making her therefore an accuser (the definition of accusation is to claim someone has done something wrong - an extra-marital affair is, by any normal moral standards, deemed to be wrong. And with no confirmation coming from Hermong that this charge of hers is/was a reality, it's therefore still only a claim). If he had confirmed this charge of hers as a reality, then her charge would go from being seen as an accusation to being that of a revelation.
Sex scandals? Pffft! Those are just for Democrats.
for the gay ones. Those are for Republicans.
Well, at least it's a 13 year-old affair, not an affair with a 13 year-old.
When I glanced at the title, that's exactly what I read. Haha!
I love how this is what's bringing him down, instead of his bat-shit insane armchair economic economics ideas. Only in America would people hear something like 9-9-9 and think, "yes, that makes sense!". Not that he ever really had a chance, but damn.
His staffers are saying that this is "not an appropriate topic for public discussion." That means it's true and he's guilty. So, just another rich guy who thinks money buys him invisibility.
Now you say something
