Gay marriage is legal in New Hampshire... but try telling that to the Union Leader newspaper of Manchester. The conservative-leaning daily recently rejected a gay-marriage announcement and caused a huge uproar.
Although the state legalized homosexual marriages in June 2009, God still has not sent any apocalyptic floods New Hampshire's way. (Nor, it seems, has He made a statement about how disappointed He is that loving couples are binding their unions with legal paperwork and a ceremony.) Nonetheless, the Union Leader's owner still does not realize his state has entered the 21st century.
I'm just going to say it clearly: fuck the Union Leader and congratulations to Greg Gould and Aurelio Tine! If the Union Loser won't print the wedding announcement, I will.

The union leader? Not so much.
We call it the union liar in common parlance up here...
Ah, the highly limited extent to which anyone is willing to take that whole "live free or die" thing.
"Live quietly and obediently within a tight jacket of constricting, unrealistic rules or be mocked" is more like it.
