Check out the first view of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises"

Christopher Nolan (and his film's marketing team) have finally given the insatiable internet masses a first look at Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/maybe Catwoman in the upcoming trilogy topper The Dark Knight Rises, after giving us a look at Tom Hardy as Bane a few months ago. So, how does Hathaway look? Drumroll, please:

So, a note about whether this is a shot of Hathaway as a civilian or a vigilante: the image, which came from the movie's official site, was given the name "selina_kyle," which could mean something but could also be one of those things people obsess over online for weeks but turns out to be nothing. My thought: if this is the Selina Kyle persona, and she's already wearing skin-tight leather and riding a giant motorcycle, perhaps the distinction between Kyle and Catwoman won't be as clear as the distinction between Bruce Wayne and Batman. Mmmm, baseless speculation: the bread and butter of the internet.

Also: good to see Kyle is Bluetooth enabled. Having your hands free is important when you're driving indoors.
