Olivia Wilde, newly-minted movie star, steams up the pages of "Details"

Mark my words: by the end of the year, TV actress Olivia Wilde will be one of the biggest movie stars in America. While her latest movie, The Next Three Days, won't be the biggest movie of the year, it's but one of three possible blockbusters on her acting calendar this fall. The other two are Tron: Legacy and Cowboys And Aliens, which doesn't even come out until July.

Despite a release date that's several months away, Cowboys And Aliens will be much-discussed, as its trailer plays before the new Harry Potter movie and will probably play before Tron. Those who aren't fans of House will know Wilde's name by the time Tron has been out for a week or two... which is a shame because we wanted to keep her for ourselves.

The [Tron] role required that she squeeze into a skintight rubber suit woven out of neoprene and something called electroluminescent lamps. "It was so beautiful that I didn't need to play the character sexy," she says. The first time she laid eyes on the get-up, however, she freaked: "I saw the boobs on the suit and I said, 'Oh, hell no. I'm doing kicks and backflips in this thing?' " She describes Quorra as a kind of warrior ninja: "We modeled the character on Joan of Arc but with the hair of Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
