Kanye West Airplane Rap

What’s weirder than Kanye West taking over the intercom on your flight for an impromptu performance of his own songs? Kanye West taking over the intercom for an impromptu performance of an odd "radio edit" of his songs. Violating probably just about every tenet of the Homeland Security Act, Yeezy took to the intercom on his Delta flight to New York this weekend, announcing –what else – “'Yo, this your n***a, Kanye.”

He kept it G-rated for the rest of the flight though, swapping the “She ain’t messin’ with no broke n**as” line in "Gold Digger" for the gentler, more confusing radio lyrics, “She ain’t messin’ with no broke… broke.” What a man of the people! Understandably, one of his fellow passengers told Billboard, “It was awesome… but I still have no idea how he got into the cockpit.” Fair enough, but factors like “security” or “logic” aside, would anyone among us really forgo an instant-classic Kanye moment in favor of another announcement about turbulence or the no-smoking-in-the-bathrooms policy? No, one wouldn’t.

That guy's gotta stop stealing the mic. Self-absorption, thy name is Kanye.

I love Hip Hop, but that sounds awful compared to what any other musician would contribute.

An Air Marshal should have arrested his ass.

As a die hard metal fun, my own reaction would be the shout something along the lines of 'put something good on', 'someone change the channel', or possibly 'of all the airliners in all the skies he had to come onto mine', loud enough to be heard in the cockpit.
