It's been in the works for a while, but MTV has now officially confirmed that Beavis and Butthead will be returning to the airwaves this summer with brand new episodes. So what does this new development mean for the future? Probably not all that much, other than the fact that I can finally dust off the (amazing) Cornholio impression that I've had to keep under wraps ever since the fifth grade. In other words, everyone wins!

I'd be excited about this if everything Mike Judge did since Office Space hadn't sucked. He's constantly meddling with the original B+B episodes - releasing incomplete and edited box sets. Totally sucky. Which is basically what I expect this to be. I'll hope otherwise - but I won't expect it.
i'll pass
anon, I suspect the reason B&B hasn't been released in its entirety has something to do with the reason The Wonder Years hasn't been released either: Musical copyrights. I could be wrong (as I haven't seen any of the B&B episodes since 1995 or so) but I know that those rights can cost big money.
music or no, Judge has in his contract that he has final say on any cut, which is why many of the more questionable (and therefore more memorable) episodes don't get released. while music rights may be one concern, the creator being a complete "I'm sorry I did that" tool is an issue as well.
Ugh
i agree with anon. but i'll hope for the best. party @ my place when it airs again!
I Need T.P. For my Bunghole! hahaha
