NBC removes Community from its midseason lineup
By James Brady RyanNovember 15th, 2011, 9:30 amComments (14)NBC released its midseason lineup yesterday, returning 30 Rock to its almost unimpeachable Thursday night comedy block, and bringing the generally lovable Up All Night to its rightful place. Though... wait, if that's 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, The Office, and Up All Night... where's Community?
I don't generally like to break this out, because it needs to be saved for special occasions, but: I will cut someone if this show is canceled. (Haha, kidding, nice police officers!) I'm abandoning all humor here: this is one of the best shows on TV, it expands the boundaries of the sitcom genre, and I refuse to let it die while Two and a Half Men is on the air. I understand that ratings need to be considered, and quality is more or less a secondary thought — let's just all take a moment and ponder that fact — but this is a TV tragedy on the order of the mishandling Friday Night Lights.
But let's get moving: Showtime or HBO, you interested?

Move it away from Big Bang would be a better idea.
People actually watch that pandering excuse for a show (Big Bang Theory that is)?
This makes no sense. Community is actually getting BETTER.
The better the show, the less people that get it. It's the law of the tv-universe. Humor sometimes becomes a niche, especially if it's well written.
You realize you've just created six different timelines...
Depending on where you read this isn't true.

I know it's not canceled, but... this does not seem good.
Just keep posting the show on Hulu, the internet is a great source for quirky but genius shows.
I really wish HBO was better about picking up great, struggling properties from other networks. I really believe it could have great success in that area (especially considering its current anemic line-up).
I will cut someone.
Season ones: "I'll have...... a birthday cake!" line should be reason enough to keep this show on. Most amazing line in the perfect part of an episode I've ever heard
CRISIS ALERT!
Really? REALLY? How is this not one of the funniest shows out there for everyone? Can we create a network of only top notch, unappreciated shows? Community...Party Down...
