Chicago University Newspaper So Sorry For Calling Women Skanks and Tramps

Really, after Don Imus and the "nappy-headed ho's" comment, you'd think that America would be post-gender, if not post-P.C.. *Dripping sarcasm* Unfortunately, it looks like some women still take offense at being called skanks and "Tara Reid's" in their school newspaper just because they wear short-shorts. Such is the case with the poor, blighted, Chicago Maroon recently, which had to print a retraction after one of their columnists wrote an incendiary column that amounted to "Bitch, but away your titties."The writer of the offending piece, A Springtime Strip, has taken the brunt for the name-calling. But Lucas Dumas is a super-outed gay man (not that this excuses calling women skanks), and the blame should lay also on the shoulders of the editors of the publication that allowed this bitchery to go to print without any sort of oversight.
