California Supreme Court Upholds Gay Marriage Ban, Courage Campaign Makes Us Cry

California FAIL: the state Supreme Court voted today to uphold the ban on same-sex marriage. While the decision allows the 18,000 couples who married between the legalization of gay marriage in the state last May and the passage of Proposition 8 in November, it says that same-sex couples have the right to civil unions, not marriage.
In response, the Courage Campaign—whose "Don't Divorce My Dads" video brought us all to tears earlier this year—is taking their message to the California airwaves. The group has put together a 60-second version of the video and is asking for your contributions to help get it on the air.

I am really disappointed with the ruling today. I am sure one day this will be reversed, I just hope sooner rather than later.
