Daniel Radcliffe (And Maybe Emma Watson?) Will Be Naked In Deathly Hallows
By James Brady RyanDecember 1st, 2009, 10:28 amComments (17)Oh, you thought just because these are movies made for children, they won't go there? They'll go there. They'll go there hard. In an interview with Video Business, director David Yates outlined the specific scene that will call for the nudity and it's...unexpected. Let's go with that word:
In one scene, “a horcrux [carrying a piece of Voldemort’s soul] defends itself by producing nightmarish visions, and one shows Hermione and Harry embracing and kissing,” explained Yates. “It’s something intriguing and sensual for Rupert to react to, and Dan will be bare for that.”
Holy teenage sexual traingle, Batman! (I'm going to call 1966 and thank it for that really current joke.) I don't really know how to take this. It's "intriguing" and "sensual" for Rupert (who plays Ron Weasley) to react to? Like...in a happy way? Be careful, Yates, you're making it sound like you brought in a fifteen-year-old fan-fiction writer to be your script supervisor.
Remember that scene in Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban that everyone said was a reference to then-director Alfonso Cuaron's Y Tu Mama Tambien? That scene just got shown.

Where the hell is that photo from? Man, skip a few of the Harry Potter books and I'm lost...Also: Harry Potter-boy? Not sexy. Put the shirt back on.
That's a promotional photo from Radcliffe's run in Equus, Gia. His female friend is not Emma Watson, though.
True, but the girl has a nice butt, doesn't she?
I would LOVE to see Emma naked! That would totally rock. It might make the $$ to see the film worthwhile!
15-year-old-fanfic writer? Bloggers and others who take articles from other sites should really check the facts FIRST. The Guardian, who first reported this, made a MISTAKE. The scene referred to is in the book, so it wasn't a 15-year-old fanfic writer, but a fairly well-known author called Rowling who wrote it. Obviously Yates is having to flesh it out as the book isn't very descriptive. The Guardian has since corrected its original article which was a misunderstanding of an interview in Spanish.
And I agree with Yoda!
may b she was emma,if i'm correct then we have a special entertainment along with magic.
I believe that taking the Harry Potter franchise down that path would be disasterous. It wouldn't add to the story, unless to some teenagers excited hormones.
WTF! Are you kiddin me?
oh and yoda and prongs, get a life. Seriously!
Emma watson naked would be great, but not in a Harry Potter movie. I've watched some of her interviews and I believe she's said she would do nude stuff. I may be wrong
You speak the truth.
Having a naked scene in Harry Potter is just plain WRONG even if it was in the book. They werent naked in the book, were they? Harry Potter was just fine the way it was. People want to see the movies and read the books because of the magic and adventure. You dont have to add scenens such as this one to make it worth seeing. You dont have to compete with Twilight, because, believe it or not, it sucks. A lot of people feel that way. If someone is a REAL fan of Harry Potter, they will like it and, hopefully, prefer it, the way it was. Oh, and btw, yoda and prongs really SHOULD get a life. You guys are complete idiots.
" "intriguing" and "sensual" for Rupert to react to? Like...in a happy way?"
It is indeed in the book, and his reaction is rage. Why would he react happily to seeing his love-interest in a sensual moment with his best friend?
Yeah, stupid fan fiction.
i agree with yoda butt NOT in the movie that is just WRONG! Butt i do love seeing naked people naked ( embarssing themselves ).
Does any one here think thats really Dan and Emma? I do! X)
