They tried to make her go to rehab and she said "Okay." But try to get Amy Winehouse to leave a children's production of Cinderella, and you better hope you have you're wearing a cup. We already briefly touched on the story earlier this week when Winehouse got into a fight with the manager who tried to remove the singer from a pantomime of Cinderella over the weekend after the Rehab singer started getting rowdy and shouting profanities at the children's show in England - the cast of which included the lovable old-timer Mickey Rooney - but we didn't hear about this part of the tale until the singer was charged with assault today.
From PopEater:
According to reports, when theater staff tried to usher Winehouse to a private box, the singer attacked front-of-house manager Richard Pound, "pulling his hair, punching him and kicking him between the legs."
So now Pound has officially charged Winehouse with assault today, and before you can Abra-cadabra Amy is back to being the cultural synonym for "hot tranny mess." Sorry, Lohan.
