We're not sure how old porn star Lupe Fuentes really is (when adult films cast 23-year-olds as MILFs, it starts to skew your perception a bit), but we know one thing for sure, thanks to a Puerto Rican court: she is at least 18.
Carlos Simon-Timmerman, who currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, was arrested in the San Juan, Puerto Rico airport as he attempted to get back to the US following a trip to Venezuela. Police found a DVD in his bag containing video of Fuentes in various sexual scenarios. Officials, on sight only, determined Fuentes to be underage even though that's entirely subjective. (It's one thing if she looked 11, but she looks borderline, so they really had no evidence...)
Well, just as Simon-Timmerman was about to do 20 years of hard labor on foreign soil, Fuentes, originally from Spain, heard of the ordeal and flew from an undisclosed location to the trial in Puerto Rico on her own dime, producing a passport showing her to be entirely legal and testifying that she was legal when filming the DVD found on Simon-Timmermann. Case closed and the defendant walked.

It's insane that they could arrest him without having proof that she was under 18. Scary. Really good of her, though. Also, Puerto Rico isn't really foreign soil, if he's American.

Exactly. He was basically on American soil. That's why they were ready to throw the book at him. This is one of those subjects that America has gone full blown witch burning on.
