    Brian Eno and David Byrne

A friend recently loaned me his VHS copy of Wall Street, because Netflix's ETA on delivering me a disc version was "Unknown." It was fun, though, because I learned that it's on two tapes, so I had to get up and physically switch cassette to finish the movie. I felt like my dad when he watched his copy of Casino. So that was kind of neat. Also neat was that I noticed that there was a lot of good music in the movie. A bunch of tracks from David Byrne and Brian Eno's classic My Life in the Bush of Ghosts and the Talking Heads' always-amazing "This Must Be The Place (Naïve Melody)" were all in the movie.

Fortunately for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Oliver Stone brings back Byrne and Eno along with Gordon Gekko, Stereogum has announced. The sequel's soundtrack includes five songs from the frequent collaborators, three from just Byrne, and, interestingly, "This Must Be The Place (Naïve Melody)" again. I'm pretty excited to see how the music will figure into the new film. Will Gekko, who has just been released from a decades-long prison sentence, come home and immediately play the last music he heard before incarceration? Will Shia LaBeouf's character go to one of those '80s parties that young people I don't hang out with go to? Will it be some strange, hypnotic strip club scene?

I don't have these answers. And I won't for a while, as the soundtrack will be released on Sept. 21, the movie itself on Sept. 24, and the triple-VHS cassette edition on Sept. 32, in my dreams.

I can't decide if I want to see this movie. The trailer left me feeling a little underwhelmed (though the music was great) It doesn't help that I'm not a big LaBeouf fan.
