Sacha Baron Cohen is wreaking havoc on location in Kansas while shooting his new film: "Brüno: Cultural Yay-Yay With Flamboyant Austrian Fashionista Brüno, High Five!" (Okay, we made that up, but it's going to have a similarly bizarre title, right?)
It's amazing that even with the monster success of Borat, people are still absolutely clueless about his BBC/HBO phenomenon "The Ali G Show" and its three characters. Kansas apparently doesn't have Netflix or cable or people with any sense of satire.
According to SFGate, Borat/Ali G/Bruno has been spotted in the guise of the latter, interviewing nitwits and dolts at the Wichita Airport:
The oddball character's outrageous dress sense has not gone down too well with some Kansans and local newspapers have reported that a "European man" was "putting security on red alert" by "stripping down to tight shorts and dancing in the lobby of Wichita Airport."
The story also touches on some bizarre elements of the plot, such as a scene "set" in a local dwelling of brainwashed Invisible Man worshipers:
Cohen and his crew are reported to have disrupted an Easter play at a Kansas church by turning up in "chains."
Can't wait to see this, although I hope there are no extreme close-ups of hairy bungholes this time.
UPDATE: Someone leaked some on-the-spot goings on at the airport. Don't miss the white dude trying to dance.
