An Outlet for Passive-Aggressive Note-Leavers and Their Prey

Posted by Nicole Pasulka

A roommate once left us a note about a plate our dog broke. And she left the note on the floor with the broken pieces swept on top of it. Angry notes with props and "evidence" are enough to get the toilet cleaned with your toothbrush. But we've found a way to really give passive-aggressive people a taste of their own medicine: put their shitty note on Passive Aggressive Notes.com

This website is truly a gift. After the jump, the kind of shit that makes us homicidal.

Seriously?  I'm not a note-leaver at all, but it seems like if a note is left, there's a reason for it, unless the note-leaver is just venting and not trying to actually communicate.  But it is a lame way to communicate.

The last time I lived with a roommate (and his fiancée ... bad scene), he actually left a sticky note next to a plug-in air freshener mandating that said horribly overpowering, nauseating air freshener was NOT TO BE UNPLUGGED!  Now I wish I'd taken a picture of it.  Especially since I wrote a reply on the note.... :-D

It seems that a lot of people on that site are confusing passive aggressive note leaving with a bunch of other kinds of note leaving.

Perhaps I should leave them a note telling them so.

Don't know why the fridge note makes you homicidal (except for the piss poor writing and crappy spelling). Someone leaving my fridge open is a lot more anger inducing than that bloody note.

That fridge note is INFURIATING! The gratuitous addition of a Garfield clip makes it doubly so!

Thanks very frigin' much. I have no idea where my weekend went, thanks to the passiveaggresivenotes.com website. Next time, you really might consider warning people that they will want to read the whole thing. lol/jk
