Austria Defeats Germany in Topless Women's Football Match

Posted by Brian Fairbanks

A topless women's football match was held yesterday on the Danube River in lovely Vienna, Austria, with the home team defeating the invading German army (of topless adult stars, bank employees, and others) by a score of 10 to 5. But, really, was anyone paying attention to the score?

Wow-- check out all the creepy dudes ogling the players!

The match, which was held to break up the monotony of Euro 2008 training (featuring only fully-clothed men), the two teams faced off on the beach to spectacularly silly results.

After their victory, the Austrian team had the following statement for the media:

"I hope our men will take heart from [our victory] tomorrow. We played pretty hard, we even had some injuries, like I for example broke my toe nail," 29-year-old bank employee Doris Fastenmeir said.

The Germans took defeat sportingly and joined their opponents for alcopops and dancing at a beach club alongside the Danube.

"I was supposed to hold the balls but I really have no idea how to do that," said German keeper Jana Bach.

"Maybe it is because I am not all that much into soccer. I am more into shoes to be honest."

It looks like these young women were having a great time and a lot of fun.

That's good to see. I guess this game was a welcome reprieve considering their line work includes an entirely less welcomed type of balls to the face.
