Wake-Up Call: Hayden Panettiere's A Singer?

Welcome to this edition of Starlets Who Think They're Popstars. Hayden Panettiere, America's favorite cheerleader and the girl getting banged by Milo Ventimiglia, has got herself a little reggae-beat, Gwen Stefani-inspired ditty of a pop-song. The worst (er, best?) part: It's not half-bad. Her debut music video after the jump.

We've only listened to it once (okay...twice) and we've already got some of Hayden's dulcet tones stuck in our head. Now it's your turn.

I've seen and heard worse.  Overall, I'd give her a 7.  My only suggestion is that Hayden learn how to throw a punch because her form in the video would easily snap her wrist.

I tried to watch that video (on mute, who wants to hear HP sing? Not me!) but had to stop halfway to wash my brain out. Actually that's a lie, I stopped because the video took a while to fully load and I could not be bothered to wait for it to do so. All the Come hither looks and suggestive poses by barely legal cheerleaders sez soft core pr0n to me.

Boring.  Yes, we get it already, you're cute!  This reminded me of the Paris Hilton single, especially at the beginning. . . neither song is the worst ever made but it is all just very boring.  I had to stop halfway through because I got sick of the pretty posing.  And I fell asleep.
