Leaked Photos: Jessica Alba Airbrushed, Before and After

Posted by Scanner Matt

Last week, Scanner Brian published a photo from Jessica Alba's 2009 Campari calendar shoot, which has been accused of being pixel-tacularly (or
analogically) manipulated. In the originals Alba looks softer, curvier and her hair less greasy (check out the added wisps). Overall, she looks more human until the magic takes hold. See for yourself.

And what's with the corny cabana-wear? This does not come across as a fun day at the beach (or retro sci-fi planet gettaway). Is that a polyester/spandex blend? We thought Campari was for old Italian men in cute hats who play bocce ball all day anyway.

And oh yeah, it's a prerequisite in celebrity "journalism" to always discuss a mother's body fat post birth. The 27-year-old Alba had a baby 5 months ago.

Part of it's simply different shots--which might explain the different hair.  Look at the Knees.  They wouldn't add weird knees in the photoshopped-up picture.

Here's an interesting article from The New Yorker published a few months back about touching up commercial photography: www.newyorker.com/.../080512fa_fact_collins

Weird knees and angle of the face.  In terms of making her slimmer through airbrushing, it more looks like they just removed the wrinkles from the outfit, which would make her look slimmer.

Yes, they would add weirded-up knees. They've removed traces of "softness" -- look at her collarbone. That's not natural at all. But it's "skinny."

It's not the same photo. I thought initially that they'd just changed the background and tried to make her even thinner, but, c'mon the facial expression is completely different.  In the left photo she's looking off to the right, in the right she's looking at the camera.  I believe that they've modified the right photo, but the original is not shown here.

But still close enough folks. They could make her look like ET or George Carlin if they wanted to.
